writing tipContacting a still place before writing is like starting with a blank sheet of paper instead of one already covered with random thoughts. You can take a few moments to close your eyes and follow the sensation of your breath, allowing your center of awareness to stay with the moving belly instead of keeping it in your head. While there will likely still be thoughts moving in the mind, at the same time, you can sense into the quiet place beneath those discursive thoughts.
